On April 23, 2009, the representatives of Kyutech worked with FPT University’s Management Board and had an interview with three excellent students of Course 1 to choose the best candidate to participate in the student-exchange programme at Kyutech, as well as to award him/her the scholarship of Japanese government (JASSO).
This is the scholarship for excellent students at universities in the world which have cooperation agreements with Japanese universities within the cultural and studying exchange.
In addition to no tuition fees during the time of studying at Kyutech, students having Japanese government’s scholarships will also be given 80,000 yen for initial preparation (airline tickets, passports, visa …) as well as money for monthly subsistence expenses.
In accordance with the cooperation agreement on student exchange between two universities, every year there will be a maximum number of 5 students of each university participating in this programme. These students will not have to pay tuition fees during the time of studying at the other university. FPT University’s students can freely register for participating in the student exchange programme at Kyutech in the self-supporting form.
In the cases of exchanged students with Japanese government’s scholarships, which requires consideration of academic results, FPT University will send candidates with high academic results to Kyutech so that they can choose and decide the suitable candidates.
