FPT Securities earned VND 55 billion in Q4, 2009

FPT Securities Joint Stock Company (FPTS) announced that in the fouth quarter of 2009, the net revenue of the company reached VND 85 billion with 55 billion of profit-after-tax, increasing by 15,3% compared to the previous quarter.

The net revenue, profit and net profit in the fourth quarter were exactly 85,129 billion; 64,98 billion and 54,687 billion respectively. The net revenue, profit and net profit increased respectively by 9,4%; 21%; and 15% in comparison with the previous quarter.

The source of revenue came mainly from securities brokering, accounting for 55,6% and consulting service and investment, accounting for 23,2% and 11,7% respectively.

The total profit-before-tax was VND 55 billion, increasing by 15,3% compared to the third quarter. The profit-after-tax was 55 billion.

On 20th January 2010, FPTS opened a trading office in Tan Binh district, Ho Chi Minh City.
